Pregnancy & Newborns Pregnancy is an exciting time for parents-to-be. You want to know as much as you can about your developing baby and how your actions will affect his health. Use this information to help you make informed decisions from conception through delivery.

Pediatric Wing

Your Newborn Baby Sleeping, eating, crying, cooing—your new arrival will keep you busy. You'll soon figure out his or her patterns and preferences.

Birthing Center

Helena Regional's birthing center is designed to provide a home-like atmosphere that is both satisfying to the parents and consistent with a safe delivery. The birthing center has significantly improved upon the traditional approach to childbirth. Mothers and fathers may both enjoy the birthing experience of their new arrival.

The birthing center is staffed with a highly-trained and experienced RN and LPN nursing staff, devoted to providing each family with a positive birthing experience at Helena Regional.

Helena Regional offers Health Programs & Events designed to guide expectant parents through all stages of pregnancy, birth, and the transitional period when the baby arrives home.

Nursery

The birth of a child is an important event for any family. At Helena Regional, parents are given the opportunity to allow their family members and loved ones the privilege of viewing a snapshot of the new baby via the Internet. The site is secure as names and addresses are not listed and parents must grant privileges for others to view their new bundle of joy.

Pediatrics

The pediatric wing at Helena Regional Medical center offers family-oriented care for children from infancy through adolescence. Parents are encouraged to stay with their children throughout their hospitalization in order to make the children feel more secure.

A playroom is provided to add a cheerful environment for children to use during their stay in the hospital. The nursing teams are all trained in pediatric care. All services offered in the hospital are also available for pediatric patients.
